Kerala Backyard - 2

4 x 6 inch

Inspired from a tree in the backyard of a home in Kerala.

Every home in Kerala has the veranda seating and a backyard full of trees. And the thing about being so close to nature is that you get to witness the many transitional phases of leaves, trees, fruits in real time. Like this tree I saw in a backyard in Kochi. With bright new leaves exist dry leaves. With these, there are bananas growing on the tree which will soon be ready to be eaten in many forms. And don’t we all exist in many forms with some of our traits and personalities being left behind as we grow into new ones with age, experience and preference.
